Classroom Posters #2: Hamlet

hamletI’ve ignored this blog for too long.

Here’s a second classroom poster.  Now it’s up in my room I’ve had a few questions about it …

‘Did you Photoshop the smoke in?’  No.  It’s actually coming from an incense stick that is between the ‘ghost’ character and the camera.  I moved it around during the exposure to get this effect.

‘How did you get Hamlet to lean up like that?’  Like in most of my photography, blu-tack is my friend …

‘Is old King Hamlet’s Ghost actually hovering in mid-air?’  He’s standing on a clear plastic stand – also Lego – and the lighting and smoke have done the rest.  Actually, the ghost figure is made up of parts from four different minifigures, if you count the stand.

‘Have you got a life?’  No.
