PTS 014/089: The Merchant of Venice Soundtrack Album

Every play needs a proper send-off as I amble through the PonyTail Shakespeare read-through – bearing in mind my current pace, there’s no telling when I might read them again.

As ever, the selection is a little, erratic, and I’m already feeling the need to disown any implied connection to number 3 …

  1. Pink Floyd:  Money
  2. Prince: Money Don’t Matter 2 Night
  3. Bros:  I Owe You Nothing
  4. Janis Joplin:  Piece of my Heart
  5. The Clash:  I Fought the Law
  6. Elvis Presley: Wear my Ring Around Your Neck
  7. Simply Red:  Money’s too Tight to Mention
  8. Abba: Ring, Ring
  9. REM:  Losing my Religion
  10. Rolling Stones:  Sympathy for the Devil

Before I move on to one of my favourite plays, 1 Henry IV, the question (as always) is – which songs have I missed?
