Rather excited to have just booked my ticket to become a groundling next week …

I’m off to see King Lear on Tuesday afternoon. By my reckoning, this’ll be the at least the third time I’ve seen Lear: I’ve seen Derek Jacobi play him, and saw/photographed it at the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival a few years ago.

Simply cannot wait.  Details of the production are here, for anyone interested.  My only regret is that I faffed about a bit in terms of booking the tickets, so by the time I came to buy, Midsummer Night’s Dream had sold out for the evening, otherwise I had hoped for a mini-Festival as my summer holiday draws to a close.
